On the board

Read the whole departure from across the room

The next train gets the board to itself, with its calling points scrolling underneath, then the two after it take their turn. It's all in one amber, the way the boards on the platform are.

These are sample trains. Put your station in above and it'll show the next trains from there, live.

Drawn with the board's own fonts and layout, so it looks the way the real one does.

What is TrainTicker?+

TrainTicker is a live train departure board for your home. It shows the next trains from any National Rail station on a compact amber LED board, laid out like the one on the platform.

Is TrainTicker free to use?+

The live demo in your browser is completely free. The TrainTicker Desktop LED board is available to order at £199.99 with no subscription fees.

What does the board show?+

The next train's time, destination and platform, and whether it's on time, expected later, delayed or cancelled. Its calling points scroll underneath, then the next two trains take their turn, with a clock along the bottom. When nothing is due it shows the time.

How big is it?+

320×80mm, about the length of a ruler. 128×32 pixels at 2.5mm pitch. It sits happily on a desk or a shelf.

Is there a subscription fee?+

No. The train times are completely free, forever. The £199.99 price covers the hardware only.

Where do the train times come from?+

From Darwin, National Rail's live train information system, the same source behind National Rail Enquiries.

Does it work at my station?+

It works at every National Rail station in Great Britain. Pick yours by name or its three-letter code when you set it up, and change it whenever you like.

Can it show only my trains?+

Yes. Pick the station you travel to and it only lists trains that call there. You can also choose your platforms, or tell it how long your walk to the station takes so it hides the trains you can't catch.

How long does delivery take?+

Orders typically ship within 3-4 weeks. Your card is charged at checkout and you will receive tracking details by email.

Can I return it if I do not like it?+

Yes. Every order includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy, contact support and return it for a full refund.
