TrainTicker features

TrainTicker is a live train departure board for your home. Here is everything it does, from live times and platforms to delays and calling points, all with no subscription and free train times forever.

A TrainTicker seen from the side showing the 19:02 to Weston-super-Mare, 3rd, platform 3, on time, with "Calling at: Bedminster" scrolling and the clock at 18:31:05.

Live National Rail times

Departures straight from Darwin, National Rail's live train information system, checked every 10 seconds. The times on your board are the ones the station has.

Every station in Britain

Choose any National Rail station by name or three-letter code, or find the nearest to your postcode. Change it from the dashboard whenever you like.

Delays and cancellations

Each train shows whether it is on time, expected later, delayed or cancelled, with the reason the railway gives, scrolling underneath.

LED board and browser

View it on the 320 by 80 mm LED board, a full-screen board in your browser, or a link you can share. One account, many screens.

Only the trains you want

Pick the station you travel to and it lists only the trains that call there. Choose your platforms, too, if only some of them matter.

WiFi setup in seconds

Power on, connect to the setup hotspot from your phone, and pick your station. No app and no cables beyond USB-C power.

Knows your walk

Tell it how long it takes you to get to the station and it hides the trains you'd miss, so the first one on the board is one you can catch.

Two layouts

The classic board shows one train in full with its calling points, then the next two in turn. The list shows the next three at once.

Free data forever

No subscription and no premium tier. You pay once for the hardware and the train times are free for life.

Every train is shown with the details that matter, the way the board at the station shows them.
