About TrainTicker

TrainTicker is a live train departure board for your home that shows the next trains from your station as they happen.

Who makes TrainTicker

TrainTicker is built by Rivoro Studio, a small studio based in Bristol, UK, registered in England and Wales as Rivoro Studio Ltd (company number 17226090). We design and ship the hardware from the UK, and you can reach us any time at hello@thetrainticker.com.

What exists today

There are two ways to use TrainTicker right now:

  • TrainTicker Desktop, a compact LED departure board that sits on a desk or shelf and shows the next trains from any station you choose. It costs £199.99 one-time with postage from £4.99 and no subscription, delivered in 3 to 4 weeks with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • The free browser demo, which shows the same live board for any station in your browser. Try it on the demo page with no sign-up needed.

Where the data comes from

TrainTicker uses Darwin, National Rail's live train information system, which National Rail Enquiries makes available through the Rail Data Marketplace. It carries every train's times, platform, delays, cancellations and calling points as the railway updates them. National Rail offers it at no charge, which is why there is no subscription: there is no paywalled feed behind the board.
